See if you can relate:

You’re in your 20s or early 30s and always manage to pay the bills on time but your savings account never seems to grow.

You can’t afford a gift for your friend’s bridal shower but always have the means to buy drinks at the bar at 2:30 in the morning.

You buy the latest and greatest Mac but have no emergency fund.

The first thing you did when you got a raise (or your first “big girl” job) is upgrade your car/wardrobe/apartment.

You simply just can’t figure out how you have no money left over at the end of the month.

Recognize yourself in any of these?

If you did, it’s ok. I’ve got you.

Many millennials tend find themselves in these types of situations over and over (and over) again, and their #1 response as to why the trend continues? They are simply “bad with money.” But ladies, here’s the thing: no one is intrinsically bad with money. It’s not a trait embedded in your DNA or that you are assigned at birth. Your money habits are a learned behavior, and ones you can easily change with a little motivation, guidance, and the willingness to give a f@$% about your future.

I’ve found there are two main roadblocks to ending those bad financial habits that people just can’t seem to get past:

1) The belief that overhauling your financial situation is too large of a mountain to climb

2) The inability to know where to freaking start

However, neither of these are major roadblocks but instead just small barriers you need a little help with clearing off your path.

Like any lifestyle change, reprogramming your money habits isn’t going to take a day, a week, or even a month. When you’re looking to revamp your health, you aren’t going to go from eating fast food 5 nights a week to cooking chicken & veggies for every meal. It’s just not going to stick. The same goes for your money, which is why I wanted to create something that would give my readers guidance on a) where to start and b) how to implement these changes piecemeal so that it developed into a habit and not just a trend that would fall off 3 months from now when you’ve lost sight of your goal.

Thus, the Ultimate Financial Checklist to Get Your $#%! Together was born. This checklist takes you through, step-by-step, what you need to do in order to get your financial life in order so that by this time next year, you will have learned to manage your money, save for the future, and chase your goals.

In addition, for those of you subscribed to my newsletter, I’ve also included this in my resource library along with a bonus worksheet that explains and helps you find tools to complete each step. Not yet subscribed? Sign up here and get access to that and many more tools to help you kill it with your finances.

If you’re in need of a little guidance in how to get started down the path of financial success, then print out the checklist, hang it on your wall, and start checking off those boxes, ladies. I can’t wait to see all of you controlling your money (and your life) like the true #ladyboss you are a year from now.
