It’s Tuesday afternoon as I write this and I’m busy slaving away working hard at completing a bunch of video work both for Budget and the Beach, and a video contest I’m trying to enter that is a cut down version of this video that I created. I have a bunch of work coming up the last several weeks of June, so I’m trying to get a bunch of smaller personal projects out of the way.
Would I sometimes rather be outside on a 70 degree day playing beach volleyball instead of working on projects that don’t technically pay me? Sometimes, but they are my passion projects.
Speaking of passion projects, Jessica from Mo’ Money Mo’ Houses is launching her news! A brand new podcast series! It’s a millennial-focused podcast and she covers just about every personal finance/work topic from debt, shopping bans, freelancing, side hustles, money and relationships, and so on.
Each Wednesday she will release a new episode, and the show notes for the podcast can be found on her website! Check out some of her upcoming episodes:
- Episode 1 – Myself talking about my childhood and personal finance journey
- Episode 2 – Interview with my husband Josh about being a freelancing
- Episode 3 – Interview with Cait Flanders from Blonde on a Budget about getting out of debt and doing a year-long shopping ban
- Episode 4 – Interview with my friend Stephanie Williams who lives so frugally that she can afford to travel the globe for half the year, every year
- Episode 5 – Interview with Christine Nguyen from The Wallet Diet about money and relationships
- Episode 6 – Interview with Bridget Casey from Money After Graduation about going back to school and investing
I’m really happy for Jessica and this new opportunity she is creating in her life. She was one of the very first PF bloggers to visit my site, and one of the first bloggers I met in person when she and her husband came to LA as part of their honeymoon. I still feel like I should apologize for our June Gloom weather they encountered while they were here.
And, as part of her launch, she has created an awesome giveaway that she asked myself and other bloggers to be a part of. Who couldn’t use a $100 Amazon.com gift card?
So, be sure to check out her new podcast either on her site or iTunes (and leave an awesome review), and look for an interview with yours truly (the non-millenial) in an upcoming podcast.
